just got an N73, on the main screen there is kind of a mini menu, has 6 icons along the top. does anyone know how to get rid of it??

I agree with James
(about the photo thing)
The menu thing is OK, but you can set up shortcuts anyway using up, down, left, right & inwards as well as using the multimedia button as well (the one that makes the cool noise )
Makes the screen look a bit cluttered Which when you have a cool Miami Vice wallpaper on your phone it just has to go!

Disabled screen savers as i hate them, nokia theme currently jules sent me a few interesting ones (eva mendes)

It is appallingly slow to start up... my works e50 is the same... literall takes a minute!!!
E50 is a great phone though... Im not keen on N73 in comparison to my K800 tho :S

its cus its asmart phone, they do so much more than normal phones, the Symbian system it runs is a full operating system thats why it takes long to start up. But then how often do you switch your phone off?
For me i never switch mine off so i never notice, same goes with my PC.

i got thias phone yesterday had a play found it soooooooooooooooo slow so am debatable to send it back and try another hmm what to do.
