As some of you guys know Dad and i purchased a black sri from a salvage yard on the cheap.
Here's how it use to look...
And this is how it looked when we picked it up..
Plans are to Fix the damage from the accident. Wing, arch, suspension leg. Then tidy up the body work as best i can and sort out a few engine niggles and then sell it
Planning to keep the wheels for mine and sell the v6 brakes on and put standard 1.4/1.6 brakes on it.
Mainly got it so i can practice bodywork bits and bobs without worrying about ruining my car Should be a fun little project

looks so crap best thing to do would be take eyebrows off, put standard rears on then de-badge / -de sticker it.
and polish it

Bumper ended up with alot of crack after it got caught on dads truck But it's all god practice
After removing the dodgy bolts holding it on Off it came...
First job was to put some fibreglass on the biggest crack to hold it back together Ignore my ugly mug ..
It was then time to experiment with filler was a bit fiddly but i managed to get it pushed into the gaps and the cracks and also started on another area.
Ended up getting too dark to do anymore by the time it had dried so that's how it stands so far hoping it came out alright but will see in the morning!

Got hit in the wing bending leg and lower ball joint. Thats the only damage really.
Did they do 16v sri's as i though they only came as an 8v?

Kit will be a complete arse to get off as its all bonded and smoothed on.
Going smooth on my one can't let this one outclass it

That's my option if this doesn't work, was the perfect chance for me to practice using filler and fibreglass so thought I'd give it a bash.
M2RTY - how much did you get your plate for? Might sell it on if the guy didn't take it off, but don't know how much it would be worth

Picking these up from Bozza_gsi tonight,
To replace the broken leg and as Its already had lowered shocks I thought i would be better off finding a cheap lowered set
This is the damage to the current leg
Hopefully get The front ones fitted over the weekend, and fingers crossed it will be drivable in a straight line

Had the day off work today so put it to good use...
This is the old leg which got bent in the accident.
This is with the one i got from bozza fitted
Went to put the ball joint back on and realised it had split
so i got a new one from clarkins. Then had to run out to get the exhaust done on my sport, Came back and fitted the ball joint and have the wheel back on looking straight again
About to lower it back down and give it a quick test drive down my road
