How fast those Clio 182's are, I have a Pulsar GTI-R and had a race with one on Sunday night , I didnt go above 6k rpm and mine dont start redlining till 7k as i dint want to thrash the car but still i could only just pull away from it on the straight, round the corner was a different matter as I won hands down.

a pulsar gtir should leave a 182 quite easily in a straight line.
my 1.6 corsa does.

It was in Leeds , and i just couldnt shake it in a straight line may have just been that i want going all the way through the gears or dropping it down enough

Seems a bit odd that you weren't alot faster. When this lads 182 wasn't turbo'd it was only a touch quicker than my mates 106 GTi.

thats what i thought cos i beat a Subaru WRX the other night it may have just bin my shite driving lol it wa late and i just fancied a play The car may have bin modified but

Yeah i dont think so either but i was driving like a fanny and bird in the car, as you can imagine bit hard to concentrate when she is screaming at you

well it didn't mate, it was a new shape one in lovely blue colour, i thought it was a 182 but then it had a hiden exhaust, he was one up, i was 2 up, we were both nailing down a stretch of dual carriage way and it was neck n neck, he had a slight edge, very slight, then i out breaked him into a roundabout. they aren't that quick and they aren't murderers!

i had a 106 gti and my brothers got a 172.... raced him many times and never kept up but belive what you wanna

@ the bird screaming at you.. i know exatly how it feels mate.. undo her seat belt without her knowing and slam on!!!!.... give her a real reason to scream at you  have some towels at hand for the blood............. or gag her with it, wich ever makes you happy

PMSL I tell her to look at some dirty on the windscreen then slam on the brakes it gets her everytime

According to stats on cs a 172 does a 1/4 mile in 15 seconds, a std 106 does it in 15.5 (est), mines had a few bits done to it i can't see how i'm a clown by saying it was neck n neck?
