Have just orderd a new laptop so on the look for a wireless router
Whats the best to go for? Will need to work with vista and tiscali.

Have had a little look about and find that linksys is a good one to use

Not Netgear.... prone to sooooooo many issues.
3COM do good wireless units at a good price.

netgear are no worse than linksys
I use netgear for adsl installs and linksys for cable i was using d-link till i had a run of dead psu's due to heat issues
i have a netgear dg834 (non wireless) its been rock solid for the last 18 months - 2 years with only 1 -2 drops due to bt

Netgear worse than linksys we use netgear throughout work after ditching Linksys ones, also use Netgear at home and NEVER had any probs

Linksys are made with the backing of Cisco. Make sure you get one with an ariel tho, as some have them built in, and the range isnt good at all.
I have a 3com one at home, and its really good, havent had no problems with it all.
You can pick a Linksys one up for around £45, which is good i think.
