Sorted the gearlinkage today, took about 20 mins, after buying a haynes manual to be 100% certain I was doing it right, and I know I've done it right, but it's still no better going in to gear

Whilst I was under the car, I noticed my drivers side outer CV boot is split, and coating my wheel with grease, AND both front discs are scored on the inside, and the pads need changing too (might explain the crapness of the brakes?) I guess the grease could get onto the disc too?

So, that needs doing now.

On the plus side, I washed (or the carwash did) it and took some pics, which won't intrest anyone, but here they are anyway.

I dislike the car even more now.

Someone buy it

Cheers Guys.

Matt, there's only one other that I know of with 16s, it's on Corsa-c.co.uk.

Danny, it's been the most faulty car I've had New steering rack, gear linkage, and now these.

And the aircon needs re-gassing I think. It's rubbish.

thats crazy, i wouldn't have expected that much to go wrong with a fairly new car such as a corsa c tbh, how many miles has it done?

Jambo, 03 plate, which is why I'm annoyed

Ste, I would, but that's 40mm, and I'd need new shocks as it's an awful ride already.

Danny, 31,000

I honestly can't believe how crap all the parts seem to be. My C reg Nova didn't do things like this

I cba with any more hassle from this one really, bits are breaking on it about once a month, none of my other 3 cars had problems like this, ever, the yellow B only broke because of something I forgot to do
