I tried putting my memory stick in from my sony ericsson phone and it didnt work 
Any help appreciated thanks

plug your PSP into your computer via USB, open the folder on you PSP called music. find the music on your computer you want and simply copy it from your computer and paste it into the Music folder on the PSP. as far as i know, i wouldn't have thought the memory stick from your phone would work in a PSP

its in settings somewere if i remember correctly, cant miss it, format memory stick. altho everything on it will be lost

go to the offical psp website and download, media manager for the psp

You dont need to format, just make a folder called "MUSIC" in the root of the memory stick or if you firmware is below 2.00 (or 2.5?) it has to be in x:/PSP/MUSIC instead

the memory stick is from her phone reece, it won't have the PSP format on there*
