This dutch 12yr old has some skills, and is coming to Liverpool for a few weeks to train with us...a bit pointless due to his age but gues sits part of building a relationship with him and his family for the future if he is any good!

Yeah but this way they can see if he has a real raw talent that can be worked upon. If he doesn't show any class now they might not want to pursue him later on.

at 12 though you need to work with him directly, not just let him develop elsewhere. Hence why all us big clubs have spent millions on acadamies so you can bring in young local lads and work with them.

IMO only benefit is showing an interest and could possibly be remembered by him and his family in the future when he is old enough to move over here.
