here we have my corsa gsi

its 1993 L reg in carabic blue


i got it a few weeks ago with suspected head gasket failure, only to find, a hole in number 3 piston, head gasket blown to bits and terminal damage to the head! i still have the original head in the shed, it looked very sorry for itself

basically ive fitted a new piston in number 3 ( all the pistons are 0.5mm oversized) new rings for all the pistons, all bores re honed, new shells fitted( 0.25mm oversized), new water pump, new tensioners and timing belt, a brand new head from vauxhall 16 new valves, valve guides tappets, cams etc new head gasket, engine is supplied with a new clutch, and 2 new front tyres, new discs and pads! also has a piper cross air filter and samco connecting hose, its had new plugs, leads, oil filter and oil, also brand new radiator fitted, engine runs fine no eml , no smokes or taps

exhaust is completly standard, still has cat fitted

its lowered on apex 60mm springs and what looks like std shocks though this is questionable as the ride is quite stiff so maybe uprated shocks but not 100% no markings on them!

i have fitted a new tailgate whihc is MINT AND RUST free, a new bonnet

the shell is mint only been welded once on the drivers side front chassis rail

Bad points

the front bumper has damage due to the previus owner hitting the wall driving on to his drive, i ve currently held it on, on the corners with cable ties, the fog lights work, the front drivers side headlight bracket is slightly bent whihc is noticable in the pictures from an angle, beam allignment is still ok, few dents in the body work nothing to major
it is a 14year old car after all

also the temp gauge on the dash does not work, due a broken signal wire whihc i havent been able to trace yet, so as a temporary measure i ve stolen a gauge out of my ka turbo and wired it up so i can keep an eye on the temps it sits nicely at around 85-88degrees
as it should

its got mot untill august 30th 2007
its got tax untill september 2007

its got 122k on the clock but has jus had a full engine rebuild as you can see from the clocks im still running engine in only done 262 miles, engine is mint very quiet, seems responsive but not taken it over 3k rpm it will get an oil chnage at 500 miles, then anohter at 1000 then every 3k after that as i do with all my cars!

i am open to offers on this car, please no insults, its a good shell, needs a little bit of tlc, but its got a rebuilt engine, long mot and tax, driver brilliantly
