1-2 at 10 mph (almost straight away)
2-3 at 25 mph (also straight after 1st)
3-4 at 40 mph
4-5 at 50 mph
or unless ur booting it then u shud be able to feel the car wanting to chage

Just replace your current dials with a set from a model with a rev counter. Easy .

1st max is 30mph, no more, i've tried and tested it, 1.2 16v this is.
4th is lies.
5th max is about 110mph, again in my 1.2 16v tried and tested on a private test tack.

33mph is right
99mph at 6500rpm is not lies
reverse 150, now that is a lie, its 52mph (same gear ratio as 2nd)
tomtom says when im going 125mph on speedo im really doing 117mph
anyway my other 1.4 sport said 60mph in second! now that speed was out!

must be something stopping me from getting 3mph out then, probably needs a clean somewhere.
couldn't imagine 99mph at 6500 rpm lol, would feel like your on the verge of death

33mph in first? My 1.4 8v wont do that, its hitting the rev limiter before 30.
As for these figures. Are we using 'real numbers' or the in car speedo for this? If my car wasnt power limited it would do alot more than 123 in 5th (based on the cars gear ratios and red line).
Anyway, Based on my 1.4 8v (i believe the 1.2 8v redline is about the same?) Then you're looking at around 25mph in first, 45mph in second, 75mph in 3rd and you'll need a big hill to top out 4th. This is assuming you have a 5 speed box and are wanting max speed .

What gear box is that with? I always thought most corsa had the same gear ratios, except the ones with the close ratio box.

In my 1.2 roughly, on a private test track
1st - unsure
2nd - 50
3rd - indicated 80, GPS says 70/75
4th - 90 (starts to die and goes nowhere so change into 5th)
5th - 110 on speedo, nearer 100 likely

Every corsa has fuel injection i believe? The C12NZ and C14NZ both have single point injection.
