Does anyone know what dream scene is? I just installed it as an update. Apparently it installed and apparently it plays videos as my desktop background.
All I have is the option when I right click the desktop to preview dream scene, but this option is greyed out.
I'm confused by it all

You probably need to upgrade your ram by like 8 extra gigs or something..

The option is only available if you have a dreamscene video enabled. You can turn them on in the desktop background settings. Click the drop down menu that says pictures and dreamscene should be an option.
Its pretty but eats CPU time like no ones business.

Enabled it. CPU usage has gone from 1% to 3% while not doing much. RAM usage has stayed the same

My explorer uses 10% cpu time (of a dual core processor) with it on. It might depend on desktop resoultion though, i havent checked that.
EDIT: My ram usage goes up about 90-100MB too

Don't think you'll find many video back grounds at the moment, the update only just came out didn't it? Not very many o/s's do this...

Get the Stardock Deskscapes software if you like this feature. It allows you access to LOADS more desktops
