on average how much do yous spend maintaining your xe corsas and keepin them on the road each year.

i seem to spend a lot on mine especially on tires. (wheelspinning) oops

anyone else face big bills each year.

i think petrol is good on them tbh i would say my petrol was worse in the 1.4 sport than it is in the valver

20 quids worth got me 186 miles no bad i think

you only use lots of petrol if bootin it when cruisin about mines is quite good on petrol.

i managed to drive from essex to fife (scotland) at an average of 110mph on only 60 quid and still had some left when i got here.

Before i got my boost valve sorted i did 97 miles.... On a tank

Now... depends, qute thirsty but avg around 250- 280 mark // tank every 5/ 6days roughly

what bout general maintanence costs like wishbones balljoints etc i've been through 2 sets o balljoints in a year and a half and 10 toyo proxes (ouch) thats bout 600 quid on tires alone.

just got new gearbox, clutch, lifters, cambelt, crank sensor, cv joint, full service, crank seal, gear linkage, sills, wishbones, balljoints.

but thats to be expected when you kick shit out your car i suppose.

i didnt buy a 2 litre corsa to pussy about thats why whats the point of a fast car if you drive slow.

and no i dont speed everywhere and annoy folk seen to many accidents and lost a couple of friends that way.

most tires got smoked down southend and basildon through the summer. thats all part of the fun though.

must do £30-60 on petrol a week, thats cause of southend on a saturday though.

set of tyres every year or so

don't ask peoples running costs when they are probablly different to yours as by the sounds of it you treat your car like shit if you like to burn out tyres and rag it about for fun

So, on average most people dont go about doing burnouts randomly, which in turn will have an effect on your gearbox, cv joints etc so you cant compare how much people spend on average to you whom you would expect spends more than average!

yeah but i took the m6 over night. i left at 10 at night and there was barely a car every half hour. cars were comin past me at bout 140 like bmws and mercs no danger to anyone but ma self never seen such empty roads in ma life.
