Southgate missed out Woodgate, Viduka and Arca for City game and Fergie said he only did it because he was friends with Pearce.
Now Neil Warnock has just said hes absolutley disgusted and that he reckons he'll do the same for the West Ham game because of his friendship with Curbishley. Yet will play full strength against Sheffield.
What do people think? Will he go easy on West Ham?

He may well be mates, but he isnt exactly in a position to be gifting results to other teams. Stupid comment form Fergie who has been such a kind old man all season.

Is Warnock saying Southgate will go easy on WHU? Or is Warnock saying he'll go easy on WHU?

I'd say it was more a case of resting them for boro's game tonight as its pretty much all they are playing for this season

Only reason Fergie has piped up is he holds a grudge against Southgate for his Ronaldo comments in their earlier game about him being a cheat etc.
Good on him I say Southgate's been in management 2 minutes and he was trying to start the mind games with a guy that's been over the course a thousand times, bad move.

Warnock is such a nobhead, if he subscribes to fergies bullshit then he deserves his thick ass reputation
I'm sorry but premiership managers cannot afford to give games away to their friends or otherwise, fergie knows that

That pathetic on fergie and warnock's case.
The reason Southgate did it is because he is concentrating on tonight's big game which is our only passage into Europe this season.
Idiotic comment.

And its not like Fergie has never fielded a weakened team before a cup game.
They didnt field a team at all one year!!

You's seem to be missing the point here, he has the hump with this rookie manager making comments about his players and he's getting his own back do you think he's stupid and doesn't know why there were players rested?

but what Southgate said about Ronaldo was right, he is a diving chump.
There was just no need to bring it up, regardless of if he was trying to get him back for other comments. He has been good this season staying out of arguments when others have tried (Wenger and Mourinho).
And Warncosk went 10x worse than Fergie saying he hopes Midds get beat, etc.

The point he's making is Southgate brought up Ronaldo is a cheat when he should have kept his mouth shut so have a tast of your own medicine then Gareth 'i've managed for a dozen games' Southgate and i'll say you fielded a weakened side and made the wrong call.
Having read his book he has several tiffs of this kind with numerous other people.

Why on Earth should Southgate have kept his mouth shut over Ronaldo? He has as much right to voice an opinion as any other person

Its called respect, he disagreed with the fact it was a penalty but to actually say he was a cheat in a post match interview and think Ferguson was't going to defend his player against a manager just cutting his teeth?
He has the right to an opinion like anyone else has but you learn when to voice it and when to accet defeat and move on.

but he wasnt attacking Fergie, he was attacking a player who dived. Now regardless of how long he has been in his job it makes no difference to it he should just be quiet in the interview or say it. That has nothing to do with respect.

Would Benitez have called a player a cheat in a post match interview?

If a player dives against us to win the game then Im sure he would, yeah. At times when he is angry he can come out with stuff.
Its different personalities anyway. Rafa is a quiter man, people like Mourinho, Pearce, Warnock, etc. are loud...but it doesnt mean its a lack of respect.

I think Warnock does have a lack of respect at times tbh same with Mourinho, fine say what you think and its refreshing to hear but Mourinho, for example, was calling a ref a son of a whore and got away with it Warnock consistently slags the same refs and linesman, why do you never see the Wengers and Fergusons coming away with that?

Neil Warnock is being an idiot again, it's up to Southgate what bloody players he wants to play and who he wants to leave on the bench!
