thinking of getting one of them
206 gti180 137 top speed 7.5secs 0-60 32 miles to gallon
clio 182 139 top speed 6.9secs 0-60 34 miles to gallon
stats show clio is quicker but i prefer the look of the new gti180. find the clios boring. cant decide.
also found that the clio 172 is quicker than the 182?????

I've driven a 172 cup and they are fantastically fun cars for the money! 206 180GTi didn't get great reviews when it was launched in comparison to the Clio.
Both are french mind so are made of tin foil

Well buy a 206 and do a few bits to it. but tbh the clio is probably the better all round car, imo looks better too.

Had a play at 2 seperate occasions with a 172. One of them pissed all over me and a 192. I nearly over took the 192. 2nd time i just about kept up, right up to 95 when we were fastly approaching a roundabout.
Not tried a 180 pug.

pug 180 will not get abused by a clio. They are very capable cars with a sexual interior.
However i prefer he look of the clio.

for the pug wanting a black one or mebi silver. around 20 000 miles or so. i wud add stuff to make it quicker but if i did that to the clio 182 then that wud b much quicker i guess.
wud the clio honestly beat the 206 180 easily? i jus relly like the look of the pug 180. i do like the clio still but theres sumit boring bout it (looks wise)

no clio will not beat a gti180 easily. driver is more likely to have an effect on the outcome than the cars

180 had some good reviews i dont think its as much of a drivers car as the clio but has a far nicer interior!
a tough choice, i think price depentdant the clio would win it for me, just.

Clio 182 is absolutely leaps and bounds ahead of the GTi180 in every respect, and with the Cup pack, its arguably the best hot hatch ever built. It is the most fun i have ever had in a car.

What exactly is the Cup pack?
I watched Top Gear on UKTV G2 yesterday with Clarkson testing the Clio 182 and he said something about a pack that was £200 more, getting you different stuff. Is this the same thing?

only true 'cups' are the 172, they have no leather, air con abs, spare etc
182 cups are normal 182 with a handeling kit

yep on the 182 it was only £200 to have the cup pack fitted so most did,
172 cups were cheeper to buy than the standard 172's
