Can someone tell me the paintcode?A friend of mine wants to paint his Astra in OPC blue so if it's not too much to ask can i have it?

Yes, 12L.

I'm sure there might be different shades of it though in which case you need the lightest. I think.

Ok because i don't really understand this stuff could you be more specific?Whats a 12L? Cause i don't know if the specific colour "arden blue" can be found here in my country?Can i go to a local bodyshop and tell them "paint my car in 12L" ?

12L is the code which will appear on a Vauxhall/Opel colour chart next to the Arden Blue paint sample, so you should be able to ask your bodyshop to paint the car in 'Vauxhall/Opel 12L'

Now not that i don't believe you but if you're 100% sure i can phone my friend and tell him that the paint code he needs is an Opel 12L.

But, the Astra VXR is Arden Blue 3 (I think), so the shade might be different.

12L - Arden Blue
Ultra Blue
Aruba Blue
Z20Q - Prestige Blue
25L - Premium Blue
13L - Polar Sea Blue
22L - Kings Blue
297 - Europa Blue
34L - Nocturno Blue
Breeze Blue

And this are the Holden paint codes:

GENERAL MOTORS HOLDEN ARDEN BLUE 291/B175 1996 - METALLIC

GENERAL MOTORS HOLDEN ARDEN BLUE PEARL B175/291/12L 1996 - METALLIC

According to Holden the "12L" is arden blue pearl

So you're sure that the stock VXR paint is "12L"?

there are 8 diifrent codes for arden blue, mine isnt 12 l

there are now 3 shades of arden blue i believe.
Arden blue was on corsa B's
Arden blue 2 was on the old astra GSi same colour, just no lead in it or something so looks slightly different.
And i think the new VXR is arden blue3.

Vauxhall themselves will only now supply arden blue 2 and 3.

Paint code for arden blue is 12L, as said, but even then, the paints could be slightly different depending on where you get it mixed

and its a pearl colour so can look completely different in different light i.e.
