..and forgetful me left it too late and it runs out tomorrow.

I posted up a while ago, about the car bogging down and the EML coming on.. Well it failed for emissions and they've written that it's possibly the egr valve that needs replacing and said that may be why the car was bogging down ocassionally. However, they said that it may have damaged the cat but they can't check until they've replaced the EGR valve, so that could set me back even more! They want £360 to fix it all so I'm gonna ring around and try and get it fixed cheaper elsewhere.

I really haven't got that much money spare, I could buy a shitty run around for cheaper than that!

might be worth taking it off yourself and giving it a clean. My EML was on, got it plugged in at a garage and he said that the EGR was probally the reason. The valve can get clogged with carbon deposits. I took mine off and cleaned it out with some carbcleaner etc, but it didnt solve my problem. If it is your EGR and cleaning it doesnt work you should be able to pick up a referbed one cheap. Think the garage round my way wanted £50

The only problem with this is having to keep paying to have it checked again.. Can't do a paperclip test on a 1.0l

I need to order a headlamp clip and blow my washers through too. Where can I order the clip from and what's the best way to sort the washers out?

No worries matey. Wanted it to fly through this so I could spend some cash on bodywork.

Been to Vaux, got a new headlamp clip for 40p. They want 150 for a new EGR valve.. Gonna call someone tonight to see if they can get one any cheaper.

yus it will just buy it and fit it yourself
well not really cause as the air mass meter is giving a wrong reading the ECU is giving the engine wrong fuel etc making the emissions wrong to
but if you want get the EGR a quick clean out to
