Campion school is extremely well resourced with ICT and has one of the most advanced networks in the country. We have over 120 wireless laptops designated for student use for cross-curricular learning and we also have a student laptop-leasing scheme, where students are able to have exclusive access to their own laptops to be used in lessons and at home.
We have an extensive wireless network, making it hassle free to connect to the Internet, printers/photocopiers and other networked resources.
We have a programme in place to equip every classroom with a ceiling mounted projector and have many interactive whiteboards, Bluetooth class-pads and digital video cameras to help us bring subject content to life.
We also have remote access for all our staff and students so we can access the schools networked programs, files, email and MIS system from the convenience of home. From September 2006, we plan to implement a new Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) to increase our opportunities for anywhere, anytime learning and provide access to National Curriculum mapped resources.
