Our study is going to be Richies room, considering every other part of the house is mine (hehe!) and has been decorated to how i want it, i thought it might be nice for him to have his own room for all his 'man' stuff
I'm going to do all the work in there as hes mega busy with work and his MCSE revision/study
But i dont know what to put in there, bearing in mind its 12ft x 9ft (with a chimney breast... and a boiler that will be boxed off)
Currently has a big desk, computer, CD/DVD rack thing, a recliner chair thing (which has to come out as he hates it )
He agreed last night i can keep it magnolia, i was going to put a fish tank in there and some deep shelves for our stereo system, hes also got his electric guitar and amp so i wanted somewhere for his guitary stuff
Obviously being a woman i don't have a clue what to do so help meeee

not really going to be a 'mans' room then it it!!
As Tom said though....fish tank in the wall (maybe one side of chiumney breat and build a false wall round it), decent tele/sound system, and then a shelf for the porn!

Im not sure how easy fish tank in the wall would be, dont you have to support the chimney breast or somthing to stop it collapsing?
I'd eventually like to get him one of those husky fridges and fill it with drinks for him for when hes studying
I dunno guys, ive gotta box the boiler/repaint the ceiling/replace the radiator/re gloss skirting/paint the door frame first
go go gadget handssss

Our dining room is huge, keep trying to persade steph to let me put a pool table and a fruity in there, but no joy , maybe you could do similar in the study.
Chimney breast would need supporting, more work than its worth...

Its simple.
Just make a stand for the tank out of 2x3 wood, and then a frame to attach a piece of plywood to make the flase wall. Jobs a goodun!

2 years Mark, with a nearly a years break in the middle so just over a year now total study time
We've been rennovating the house/working full time and all that jazz so he hasnt really done much, so having a nice study to go and work in (and where he can kick me out of ) will help him get it finished soon

I think Ally might struggle with that in a 12x9ft room with a chimney breast and boiler
