my mates just got a ps3 didnt get a game though so going to have to download some demos.
am i going to switch to the dark side?
must admit im really looking forward to having a go on it, and i will take pics of it next to his 360.

I would just try out all the demos - see what games you want to play with..
or just get Linux on there and start being a geek and optimise some of the h264 codecs to utilise the cell

i got a 360 and tbh im sick with the lack of games there are about and wont be about for ages. most of the ones atm are not great anyway.

wtf are you on about? there are 10x more games out for the 360 compared to the ps3 and the 2007 game line up for the 360 is amazing

ok guys didnt go very well with the ps3... he internet wasnt working and he got it with no games, also none of his ps2 games would woek except gta and that looked all fcuked up. so we're going up town tomorrow efternoon to get a game and a blu ray movie for it.
just a few things i noticed about it compared to the 360...
its bigger but also very quiet
the design and buttons on the console seem more 'spage age' if that makes sense
the console menu looks very basic and pretty crap tbh, controller kept disconnecting itself but this could be that it wasnt charged enough
the back of the consolw was VERY hot when i picked it up after it had only been on 15 mins.
im not really slating it as i have hardly used it and havnt even played a ps3 game on it yet just saying what my first impressions were.. and finally incase people didnt believe he got it a day early

tbh its my opinion and i think at the moment current games suck.
