Haven't played in 10 months due to injury. Due back in a months time. Please post back on a scale of 1-10 how fucked you are. If not posted back, I'll assume you've dropped down dead, which I reckon is guna happen to me.

I've just started playing again on a Wednesday night - not too bad at 8pm
Properly screwed my left ankle up, still hurting a week on and no bruises showing...
Glad Scotland game means a week off.
As Mav said tho, first night you go back after a few months is the worth. I was almost sick twice.

Back in one piece..Not to bad but i did take it a wee bit easy, spent about a 1/3rd of the game in goals taking a wee breather..Legs feel really heavy...
Played shite though, couldn't stay on my feet with these shitty trainers on, going to have to go buy another pair of astroturf boots..
But thats the 1st one out the way hopefuly will be a regular occurence again.
I'll soon get back into the swing of things..
Head feels a wee bit sore too drank plenty of water before and after game also..

you don't want astro turf trainers mate. well they arn't bad for indoor. but there are some trainers you get specifically for indoor. they have like a yellowy orange sole and are better for turning and will stop you from slipping

5 a side is usually indoor on the hard wood stuff. although if it is outdoor then astro's are the way forward

It's like astro turf with sand on top we play on....Was very greasy last night and I slipped all over the place
Through my last pair out about 6 months ago as we stopped playing........ might get some today..
At our sports place inside it is too hot and no air, feels like you are going to die
