basically as it stands its in extremely good condition and the xe is running sweetly after a failed afm, i decided that after buying some tb's for my 2.0 i sold them and put the money towards my mk4 astra gsi, so my decision for this is i really do believe the corsa has enough power, its the handling and braking that i want to sort out. anyways my astra is now running 240bhp with turbo manifold to go on which should see it past 250 mark so that suits me for outright speed.
my plans are,
4-pot brakes either reyland/wilwood/hi-spec
kw coilovers, or koni fixed 40mm with adjustable dampers
poly bushes front and rear
whiteline f+r anti roll bars
ball joints/track rod ends etc
btb manifold and 2.5"exhaust with 3" tail
i may consider some cams for the engine, and mappable chip of some sort but thats undecided.
relocating battery to the boot
carbon bonnet
standard rear bumper flushed to match the front airdam
powder coating, battery tray/lower arms/rear axle/drums/hub carrier/and lots of other various parts.
as it stands now.

bin a while but i can now start with the corsa proper, stripped alot off last couple of days, brakes are off and hopefully sold now so will buy 4-pots soon.
heres tie bar/lower arms/ball joints off, tie bars goin to powder coaters, and old anti roll bar is going in place of a whitleine version
and the underside , new manifold and sump needs to be re-powder coated also

bin bit busy heres my latest on the corsa, i have removed the sump and had it powder coated, and ive removed the CV joints to make way for new cv boots and just a good general clean.
heres pretty much where iv started
heres hub carriers removed and small sand blast in tank at work
heres them painted in black satin enamel paint
then i set about removing all gubbins from arches, and mainly the cv joints which all need new boots
and just for starters driverside ball joint and 2 new gaiters and wax oil, pas side to follow with same and new track rod ends to.
