Ive been thinking about this for a long time now, it would just be for bedroom use really.. Ive found some cheapish packages, and was wondering if any of you wanted to give an input..
Have any of you ever done any mixing etc? Can you put the music onto Discs? Upload them onto the pc etc? As im new to all this

Those decks will be pretty pap IMO, you really do get what you pay for.
Thought about CD decks instead? Much cheaper in the long run as you can DL songs and copy cds etc.........

Look into Vinyl emulation software. I use this.
PCDj Scratch
Serato Scratch Live
Final Scratch
You can play Mp3's as if they are Vinyl. I can't be arsed to explain the whole concept but the web sites of the companies who make the above software will explain it
I've been using this for a few years now and its awesome. You get the best of both worlds....hands on use of Decks and Vinyl, but you are able to use online stores such as iTunes, Beatport etc to buy your tunes really cheap as opposed to paying £7 per record

And if you want to record Vinyl to PC...use the line in port. The microphone port is too sensitive and is designed to capture voice
Attempting to record to this wont yeald good results IMO

Thos decks probably won't even have enough torque to spin a record, let alone mixing with.
