I've got a GSi fog light switch, thing is i'm not going to use it for foglights, i'm using it to wire my fan upto it.
Now, i've already worked out I need connecters two & three to wire up to the fan switch in the rad. Thing is, the light doesn't come on when the switch is pressed, so I'm guessed you need to more wires coming off the switch to the battery?? If so which ones??
Any help greatly appriacated

Do you have a haynes manual? Find the wireing for the switch. If you don't understand the wireing diagram (many people don't) scan it and post it up. I'll try n help then.

i wired up a GM front fog switch in my corsa (for fogs) but anyway...
from memory there was the followin wire
live,
live to foglight
earth
illumination live
switch on illumination live
just try running different power through the remaining 3 connectors until you get the green light on, you will then need to run an earth to one of these and either loop the power out to your relay back into the other connector, or run a wire from the relay to the connector

I'm lost I'm CRAP with this sort of stuff
So far I have found connections 2 & 3 are for the switch itself. But what I can't work out is which connecter out of the three is used for the light?
Is it as simple as to run wire from a permament live on another connecter, so the light comes one when the switch is pressed?

Bridge a wire from the Possitive to the one your not using. Now press the switch. If you stop time, you might have wired it up wrong......
Any chance you can scan a haynes diagram in?

Err, I'll try and get a pic on the net.
I just connected the two wires upto the switch, then got an extra wire and bridged from both wires onto each and every other connecter, and pressed the swtich but the light didnt come on
