Broster bought this car to my attention the other day, so I did a bit of digging. It sounds like a very well specced car, all a bit fresh at the moment so not achieving it's full potential yet. His current 1/4 mile PB is a 13.8, but should be able to do better.
Seems I have some competition
This is the engine spec: -
Started as 206 xsi tu block & head
Peugeot Sport super 1600 steel conrods
Peugeot Sport kit car forged high compression pistons
Peugeot Sport Works flywheel
Peugeot Sport Works large valve head
Richard Longman cams
Genuine Peugeot Sport 106 'Maxi' kit car direct to head 50mm tapered throttle bodies
Richard Longman/Jenvey carbon fibre airbox, carbon fibre 40mm trumpets, green panel filter
106 kit car injectors
4-2-1 stainless exhaust manifold with large bore primaries & 2.5" system
EFi Euro 1 engine management with full throttle gear change & launch control
207.7bhp @ 8300rpm & 142 ft torque

Super quick changes.
Launch control doesn't seem to work that well if its wheelspinning all the way down the road.. Just use less throttle and save yourself a fortune
Bet thats awesom on a track.

Its Bics, I made a thread about it a while ago. So much money gone into it but unfortunately not as quick as you would imagine.

AK and dhdev are right, around 50k+ has gone into this car. Cant justify that much money on a 13.8 quarter mile. Hes pushed the 1.6 16v about as far as it can go though. Although im more excited about Lucky Bs up and coming engine which probably more thought has gone into.

i fail to see how that bloke can justify spending 40+k on that thing when it doesnt even seem that quick, sure its very fast for a hot hatch and will do very well on a track for what it is but for the money he could of got a much better car.
before this 106 he also had a 106 gti and a 206 gti, both track prepped and costing a small fortune...

butler did u ever see his silver gti? it was quick and ran something like 13.9 at santa pod when i was there but iirc he spent around 20k on it.
in the lane next to him was someone else who had a s1 xsi, with a gti lump in it that had thoughtful mods done to it, and it was completely stripped out. thing is this bloke was alot more wise, altogether he spent around 4k including the car and ran something like 14.3
it was a puggti.net meet btw

Seen pics of it thats all. He would have done better sticking a gti6 lump in there.
