complete engine is roughly £500, anything more on that would be depedant on whats been replaced or rebuilt

The head was sent off for some work by a tuning garage who then sold it 
I'm sure it isnt fucked. How much would a head cost?

TBH there isn't a lot of XE's which go for more than £300. If they do then it's usually because they are higher spec or have been rebuilt.

if i was to pay anywhere near 500 for an xe then id want something really special, xes usually go for arround £300 for one with out a head id say wouldnt be worth much but if you find someone wanting to rebuild then heads are easy enough to find
