You can get a set of bilstien dampers for around £300, then just buy a second hand set of 60mm springs for under £50

The suspension set-up i bought from Dave A is really really good.
as he says 'Bilstein tarmac road rally spec'
bilstein shocks and i think the springs are too, with rally inserts in the springs i think he called them.
only downside to them is that they are rock hard! lol

yeah, dont know what the name of the shocks are other than bilstein.
u2u Dave A about them, he built the set-up. apparently they cost over £500 new to build, got them off him for £250, they are a massive improvement over lowering springs on their own.

these are the bilstein sprintline shocks with tarmac spec inserts, the springs are bilstein -50mm tarmac springs and they have polybush spring seats, cery good setup, can be a bit hard but handle fantasticly well.
Gaz coilovers are very very good but closer to £475-£500 for them through me, (RRP is £529)
