here is a astra i have aquuired
it has had lots of tacky non thought throu mods on it
soooo
im tidying it up and selling it

plans so far are,
fit new std exhaust
fit working drivers window mech
get and fit some interior plastics and rear shelf
new hazzard switch
new front bumper bonnet and wing
new front grill
std rear clusters
clean, tidy, sell on.
there are a few bits ive missed,,,, i will make a list tomorow and hopefull get most of the bits i need

the grill... shudda seen the exhaust, till i pulled on it and it removed itself i kid you now it stuck out at least 2 foot from the back bumper,
its off a cav or cally
which is also for sale, a stainless mongoose jobbie

Is that blue tint spray on the rear lights too?!
Maybe clear indicators on the front, bit of debadging etc would be worthwhile doing too?
Should make a nice little profit on this when all cleaned up though

they have taken the role of my winter wheels
my other wheels will make an apperence in the next month or so i feel
the sport is ace, next up is braided lines and a fluid change,
the track slag.... needs funding

goodies from the scrappy
1 light done
both done
bumper going on was a pain in the arse, it has had a replacement front panel, and fuck all lines up. got it on in the end
fitted bonnet cable, stripped out most of the crap wiring, got the interior nearly all back in, just gotts get a mounting for the grill, fit a missing bolt for the bonnet, remove the undercar neon clips, fit new window mech and exhaust, and 1 trim panel for the interior, the polish up mot and sell

right update, no pics yet. will endeavour to get some,
fixed drivers window mech,
drilled out sheard bolt on ehxaust and rebuilt it all it now has an exhaust bloody hell !!!
interior is going back together, fixed speaker grill and fitted a cheap cd player,
it now on steels with trims, just need some clips for front gril an headlight, 1 interior sill trim and thats about it,

It seems an awful lot of effort for a car that you find every week in the loacl paper for a few hundred quid!!!
I'm assuming you were given it as you havn't answered anybody asking if you paid for it!

i swapped it for my corsa td, given that the td was rebuilt inc the engine it owed me about £400-£450, without mot, or tax ill let this go for £350 so far. i cant see why it wont go throu an mot, if it is important then ill mot it and add that to the cost,
and yes it is an awfull lot of effort. im getting tired of seeing it, i would gladly swap it for somthing i would use or could make use of for similar value
