hmm that i dont know, i would expect 285 to fit under 15" as vaux 286mm fit under 15" with the right offset

i would "think" the calipers would be ok, but are you going to have to use brackets for them

Q: would they fit a mk3 fiesta? and will 15" alloys fit over them? 21-Mar-07
A: These kits are available for the Fiesta Mk3/4/5/6 and Puma and Ka. This kit available is suitable for 15" alloys. Thank you

i know id have to use the brackets supplied, but would the calipers fit the bracket?

the bracket is to move the STANDARD calipers far enough out for the bigger discs

4 pots are 283mm
Sliding singles are 278mm

You won't need any brackets at all, but you might need to space the caliper from the hub, to centre it on the disc.

The calipers are, yeah, not sure on the hispec discs going with them though...

And the wheels will need to have clearance for the calipers, obviously.

Why not just by some 2WD Cosworth discs, they'll be cheaper than the Hispec ones, and won't have the brackets (which you don't need)

i have cosworth sliders (i think that means they're 4wd ones?)
they were on the car when i bought it,m but i have had them off to paint them. the caliper is spaced out from the hub to centralise the disc between the pads, im not sure how much, but itsjust shitty bits of wheel spacers atm (which i plan to change to proper spacers when i get new discs/pads (although i do have another idea which may irradicate the need for spacers at all...but i dont know if it will work or not yet.

the car came on 15s, and they were fine with the clearances, diameter wise 15" is fine, it depends on the spoke design. i ended up needing 10mm spacers on a new set of 15s to clear the spokes. i now have 16s which fit fine without spacers.

anything else you need to know, ask away and i'll try to help
