The meet is at 12 noon, I was reckoning it'll take under an hour to get from Sandy to there, possibly less.

If you go up the A1, these are the directions.

Up the A1 from South Mimms -> passed Biggleswade -> hit a 60mph with cameras -> 50mph limit with cameras (in Beeston) -> come to a rounadabout. Holiday Inn on the left, Little Chef, petrol station etc the other side of the roundabout. That is where DJMartin and myself will be -> straight over this rounadbout, keep going along the road. Abide by the limits, there are static and mobile cameras -> keep going up the A1, at the next roundabout (another Little Chef on it) turn left towards Bedford. It's a new dual carriageway. Look for signs for the A428 into Bedford, then out again sort of, this will lead you all the way to Northampton -> A428 comes out on the A45, turn right -> big roundabout, flyover type junction, off there and follow the maps in the East Midlands thread.

Sorry I went on, but I'm pretty sure I know the way. Check out a map, it's pretty simple. IMHO, the A1 will be quicker than M1. As you'll be heading West from South Mimms, up the M1, then East again into Northampton. A1 is pretty much as the crow flies.

Alternatively, let me and DJMartin know what time you'll be at Sandy Little Chef, and follow me I also chose that route, because it will be 60mph roads most of the way, which, my 12v can handle
