Hi Peeps,
I have a strange noise coming from within the engine somewhere, i cannot pinpoint where as you can only hear it when it's driving.
It starts about 2.5k revs if you have your foot on more than a 1/4 throttle starts off intermittent then gets faster as the revs do. It stops if you stop accelerating or feather the pedal. The noise sounds similar sound to change in your pocket when it first starts then it'sjust constant (Only thing i could think of that sounds anything like it )
Appreciate anyhelp, as it is pretty vague

mine sounds like that i think as well -
When you put your foot down you hear some sort of graunchy scratchy noise. however, after warming up properly and having been driven quite well for a few miles you dont hear it even when you really do put your foot down properly

Yeh except mine stays and sometimes gets quieter depends what mood the car is in lol
Its annoying though and more annoying when stopped at lights.

You can't hear it unless its being driven which is the pain in the arse about it.

Would that cause it to happen dependant on throttle position? If pedal is to the floor when i accelerate from 30 in 4th its louder then if i go to second and do not use as much throttle.

Tried to record it last night but no luck, Worked out that if i do not apply much pressure to the accelerator i can drive it with out noise, could it be something to do with the throttle body?
