right, got no pics yet but in our lounge we have only got a single centre light at the minute, the room has been decorated cream/browns with wood floor but were really struggling for some ideas on a nice light for the room.
any ideas/pics/links to a nice subtle light to go with our decor?

thought about them but as thats the only light we will have other than a lamp im not sure, sol bloody hard to decide in your own home

I didn't have the luxury of doing this, as I have a flat...
However, I mounted a piece of 15mm MDF on 75mm battens to the ceiling.....I set the battens back to give a shadow gap around the edge. I really like it, one of my better bits of DIY
