Needs it's own thread imo

Nearly at full strength, who do we reckon will start?

I would like to see us score early and keep a clean sheet tonight (our biggest positive and would be good to go into the next round without conceeding another goal).

Talk of kewell back but doubt it tonight.

reina
arbeloa, carragher, agger, riise
pennant, mascherano, alosno, gonzalez
gerrard
crouch

Not seen gonzalez start much but aurellio is out and he played ok last week imo, pennant will start imo as he will play gerrard off crouch and have the option to switch it around by playing bellamy later on but doubt it.

He may play sissoko to get him back in the swing of things, think he may prefer arbelour as it's not as if finnan needs the experience on this stage.

Fowler...doubt it.

I doubt he will rest Gerrard. He might take him off if we are winning by a few goals, but cant see not starting him...not after everything he has been saying in the press.

I can't see him not starting him as he's such a big presence, can see him bringing him off after an hour and we'd be safe with mascherano/momo pulling the strings anyway....

Didn;t watch so can;t really comment how did zenden, fowler, pennant, momo play?
