do you not think that manifolds are designed to take the temps and not to warp.

And maybe that heat sheilds are for a reason other that 'looking good'



It may warp/crack if you throw a bucket of cold water on it though.

The constant high revs that engine must be sitting at for that amount of time for it to get that hot would mean there realisticly isn't a road long enough for you to be able to do that in a real world enviroment.

Thats the first NA engine i've seen producing such heat through the exhausts. Must have been running at top RPM in top gear for ages.

Turbos, easy, go and thrash it for 5 minutes, but on a NA engine!! Mental!!!

i dont think there designed to get that hot, thje metal looks molten almost, so it would be plyable
