Dein stepping down due to differences with the board, the board refusing to sell their shares for 12 months (45%), the Yank wanting to buy in.
Not looking good!

Leave him alone.
He likes to feel good about Liverpool by mentioning the CRISIS at both United and Arsenal.

of course I'm interested in what happens at the club and the various goings on. Do I lose sleep over it at night? no not really. Do I have any influence in what goes on? again, no.
There are far more important things in life than worrying about the future of the football team that I just so happen to support

Surely as a Liverpool fan you'd see this move as a positive?

Not looking good IMO its looking very good. It shows that we are going to stay a club owned by the current people who are committed to arsenal.
As they have said. They have no interest in selling the club. A few million to them is nothing as they are multimillionairs already and believe in the club.
Quite good to see that he can't push his weight around.
[Fair play to the guy he brought in Wenger which was a master stroke which has helped change the face of the premiership]

I heard that they are going to have to sell the ground because it was built on top of a Roman burial site and the Italians want the bodies back.

depends how he does it. Glazer's hated style, or Learners at Villa/Hicks and Gilletts at Anfield. It very much seems like its Glazer like.

they only own 45% between them though, so he could still become majority shareholder.
I didnt really mean him coming in as the main point, mainly Dein as he is the guy who ran the club day to day and was a big big part in your success over the last decade.

they are very very very well financed with how they have done the stadium and allowed for investment in the team.
Not getting in the Champs League would of been a big problem, but that wont be a problem now.

I didn't know Kroenke was a shareholder already I supposed if these yanks get majority shares, then with them already having a vested interest in Arsenal's footballing, nothing bad would come of it unless 'new' investors come in, that's when your problems begin.

hmmm...... over the last few weeks I've heard some strange comments coming from the Brazilians in Arsenal, on a Brazilian media station, which leads me to think Gilberto Silva, Denilson will be there for much longer anyways and obviously Baptista is on loan but i don't think he'll be there next season.

I guess all this will be dependant on Wengers position though?
Without doubt wenger will be difficult to replace

I meant to say G Silva and Denilson will NOT be there, I missed a word out, oops!
Yeah Jules I think Wenger has the dressing room respect cracked, I wouldn't be surprised that if Wenger gets sacked or leaves, but he's built a good team and the shareholders shouldn't interfere with it unless it's costing them dearly.

He made a comment to a South American football pundit, along the lines of " Arsene Wenger has made me feel at home although I'm thousands of miles away from my home, if Mr Wenger wasn't here and Arsenal offered me a contract, I probably would look to further my career elsewhere or request a move"
