just thought about it after a post by Tom

How many engines have you 'blown', rebuild?
How many turbo's have you had to replace?
How many turbo's have you had.... thats an interesting one... including replacements and the ones on the car... etc>


Blown engines......

Corsa 1.4 16v
Corsa 2.0 16v
Corsa 2.1 16v
Corsa 2.05 16v
Toyota supra 2.8
Toyota supra 3.0 TT

rebuilt

1.4 16v
2.0 16v
2.1 16v
3.0 TT 2jz gte toyota
2.6 (2.7 now) rb26dett nissan

Turbos:

blew 4 on the supra.... :/

in total

6 turbo's on the supra
4 on the skyline
1 on other skyline
1 on Punto GT

12 turbo's in my life :/

onto the subject

blew a hole in the side of the cav's engine,

made a bmw start knocking a little and smoke a lot

frazzled a gearbox on a mondeo

had a 1.2-8v corsa start knocking a tiny bit

buggered a fiat panda gearbox

cracked a audi 80's engine block

blew the h-g on a 1.1 metro, "drove it once for half a mile to do that"

think thats about it

I done 3 hg's, 2 clutches and a gearbox in my 1st 106 xsi! Never lear as i had to do a clutch and gearbox in the 106 gti!

1 gearbox on 1.4 sport too... blew the diff to bits, through the casing

Oh and i blew up the diff on my 1.4 astra, was doing 150mph on the spot with the driveshaft all over the place!

Never blown anything up but my corsa's clutch cable snapped once while doing 50 on the A5

That was fun...

Dont think you'll have much competition here AK!!

I done the big end on my Corsa GSi, had the option to rebuild or replace so replaced (believe it was the cheaper option) Thats all ive had go wrong really
