Seems alright but I just want to know if something will now happen to Liverpool about Mascherano as it should. How is it hes allowed to play in the champions league as well when he's already played in the UEFA Cup?

Shouldve been points.
What's £5.5million to a team with a multi millionaire owner. It's like when the FA fine players £2k for improper conduct? £2k is pennies to any Premiership footballer, not a punishment at all.

Exactly right. Nail on head.
Won't happen though, the dippers are one of the top 4 and the FA won't want to make them angry.

Are the UEFA Cup and CL considered two different things, bit like the FA Cup and League Cup? If you play in the FA Cup for one team, i'm assuming you can feature in the League Cup for a different one, if transferred.

The Premier League have said they will not be banning Tevez from playing again for West Ham this season.
They will also allow Tevez to remain registered with the club.
But ONLY if we remove the "third party ownership" from Tevez

Why stop at just 'boro. So many teams have been shafted by points for lesser incidents.
One rule for the 'big' clubs, another for everyone else.
Leeds for example fielded SIX loanees when the rules state FIVE is the maximum. Their punishment? £2,000 fine, half of which was suspended. Granted they lost the game in which that happened, but what a shit punishment!!

where did you get that from, technically not cheating, as the FA wernt even sure of there own rules
TBh i cant see how its cheating, when the FA couldnt understadn the in's and outs of the B13 rule, as knowone has ever been it this situation before
also i cant see how you lot can say just dock them points, where EVERYONE involved with the deal, has nothing to do with the club anymore

From what I know....
Liverpool have basically bought him for 18months for a set price (have heard its from 2mil upto 12mil), after this the contract goes back to the previous owners and we have the first refusal to buy him for an already agreed price.
Put it this way, somehow we have agreed with the league the correct way to have him....it took them an extra 5wks after the tranfer window to agree with it but agree with it they did.

i heard liverpool are in the clear as they have done it properly
but imo if they have broken rules, it should be points deducted, as that fine isnt going to trouble the owner too much, plus if they stay in the premiership they'll get more than that anyway

and i think thats where it went wrong cosmo, it took 5 weeks as the FA didnt understand there own rules, and were possibly going to agree to the deal, despite it going agaist the rule book, if you see what i mean

But the owner isnt the one that signed the players, it was our dodgy old chairman, who now has NOTHING to do with the club
IMO, biased as it may be, if one of my workmates fucked up and left, i wouldnt expect to get their punishment for the fuck up

deducting points is punishing the club
