i'm trying to passthrough some information to a DIV that has an ID.

Now the javascript part reads

divname.innerHTML = blah blah

i need the divname to be dynamically generated from the link to the image for example

http://www.rsportscars.com/foto/10/fpvgtp05_051600.jpg.innerHTML = blah blah

but that fails because all the // and dots in the link break up the Javascript, iv tried enclosing it in '' but then it doesnt seem to recognise it at all.

any ideas?
