im in the process of fitting an exrternal rev gauge to 1.2 merit. I have read about connecting up a green wire for the rev reading, but looking at my ecu there are about 3. how do i no which one is write? also where is the best palce to power it from, its an autogauge one, if anyone could tell me what the other 3 witres do that would be great thanks.

iv read all about the 'pea green wire' iv looked at my ecu and there are 3 green wires all the same shade of green. how do i know which one?

iv found the green wire now. but there are three other wires a black a red and a yellow. the black and red are going to the bat and the gauge is on fine, but what does the yellow wire do?

green - to green on ecu
red - to battery live
black to battery earth
yellow????
my gauge power is on but the needle doesnt move please help! someone must have done this.

Yellow must be a 12v ignition on only power source. So it only works when you turn the key

so everything else is right? cause i tried putting the yellow to the battery aswell and nothing happened
