Keeping you all updated on our extention build, we're now 4 weeks into the 'waiting for the new application for planning' (remember we got planning last december but needed to re submit when the plans had to be altered slightly once the buildings REGS were done)
Well the builder has still put a bit of time getting the crushed concrete down around the extention to tidy it up. Also he's now ready with the blue bricks. We hope that the 'amendents' to the uilding planning application won't go the whole full 8weeks.
In the mean time he has leveled the 'new' hall way area, it was a right state so at least now its all level and done properly with insultaion and what ever it needed. We now have level floors from the new build to the hall way now.
While we're waiting the garden still needs looking after, glad I got a good lawn mower! lol
So just waiting on the council now!

it does seem big, think I should of told the wife we'd sell the land to have a load of flats to be built on it! lol
while this weathers like this I feel we're missing good building time.

pooey planting in middle looks good imo
girlfriend has a planted bit in middle and looks far better than ours at home which is just lawn
hope you get permission sorted soon.
Personally i would just plough on if it was only small changes and you have building warrant.
may get a fine but very very unlikely they tell you to rip it down

A J Mair, i cheaper to lose two months mortgage payments than get to roof ight and ask for it to be altered, also the builder said its not worth takng the risk.
ooohh... that pooey bit in the middle is a pond atthe top that splits with two water falls down to a larger one. it had about 40 gold fish thingies in it...... till the bluudy heron had most of them!
