ok if you take the aerial out of the car there are two wires attached 1 is the aerial lead itself and then it has another wire that goes all the way back to the dash aswel, does any 1 know what this wire is? is it a live, an earth an ignition etc?

would have thought there would be just the coax cable, probably a live as i would thought it would earth when its screwed in, got a tester thing?

p.s only a guess could be talking bubbles
