2007 will see a new show at Santa Pod Raceway, the Performance, Tuning & Modified Show on 5th - 6th May 2007, which will feature the best from the world of high performance street cars, both Japanese and European. Here are a few highlights of the event:
Club Camping - Why not stay the weekend and enjoy the whole PTM Show camping experience. Anyone can camp, just bring your tent! To book club camping phone 01234 782828, the first clubs to book get pitch priority. Trophy & Prizes for Best Club Stand!
RWYB - Run What Ya Brung action with all kinds of cars running up the strip! Why not sign-on and put your own car to the test?
HKS Drag Series - PTM Show will see Europe's quickest tuned cars side by side on the track as they compete across 3 classes in the first round of the HKS Drag Series for Japanese cars!
Drifting - Professional drifters show you just what this style of driving is all about with sideways tyre melting action from the action arena.
Meguiar's Show & Shine - Check out the best looking performance cars around, expect to see the best in bodywork, paint, ICE, engines and all manner of mods. To enter the competition just bring your car along to the Show Car Paddock on the day! Trophies and prizes from Meguiar's for the winners of each award: Best of Show, Best ICE, Best Wheels, Best Interior, Best Paint, and Best Engine.
Miss PTM - The sexiest, hottest ladies will be competing for the title of Miss PTM. Make sure you come along and give these gorgeous girls plenty of support.
Sound Off - EMMA UK (European Mobile Media Asociation) will be running a car audio competition, offering anyone who wants to the opportunity to compete on a fair and level playing field. From the novices just venturing into the world of car audio right through the spectrum up to the out of this world systems and installs from the professionals and manufacturers in the industry.

Apparently they've laid some new tarmac somewhere, did you spot where?

Yea theres a big new peice of tarmac on bankside, next to where the ramp onto the bank is... probably size of a football pitch maybe bigger, they use it for the Live Action Arena and sometimes the AutoTrader cars for sale.
