Benn looking at these, but what i dont get is, if a bulb blows for some reason, do you buy a replacement bulb or a whole kit again. and how much are bulbs

You can get replacement bulbs, but they'll be fairly expensive. Think Vauxhall ones are 100 pounds (each), but some people sell them for 50 quid (each).

and if one of the ballasts blow, then that'll be another £50-100.

best advice is to spend more on a decent kit to start with and they will last.

The kits we sold (dont do tham anymore) were very good but supply was limited so we stopped.

the new kits we have in are made by Ring, but are a bit pricy at nearly £300 but they will last forever.

your kit was the same as my ebay jobies but in a niceer box

doubt it very much as we made our kits up from individual parts, they do all look similar though, its whats inside the boxes that counts. ours were fully E marked with dazzle guards, ebay stuff isnt.

At the end of the day tho they work n ive had no trouble wot so ever at half the price PS your ballest were EXACTLY the same as mine

once again, they probably werent. theres 1 company in china that makes ballast boxes for over 30 kit manufacturers, the circuitry in our ballast boxes is made in germany, fully CE approved and Emarked for uk retail. but they do all look the same from the outside.

I see but like i said mine work and have had no trouble for around 7 months now and payed half the price, and i have no problem with 6k dazzle through my projectors

Wouldnt bother, they just blind other road users, if you need to see more on a back road stick your full beam on for a few sec's!!
