depends entirely on the wheel size mate. with coilovers and 14's i reckon you could get away with a 70mm drop easily enough.
just go out and measure the distance from the top of the tyre to the wheel arch

my fks were pretty low when i fitted them, took them to demon tweeks they adjusted them up 30mm and did my tracking and camber, stopped the wheel rubbing the shock but they scrubbed and wore my arches away
recently took them up 25mm and it still scrubs on bumps and fast corners
p.s these are on 15 inch wheels with 195/45 tyres and offset of 45 i think

Lol sounds like my car, currently lowered 35mm and drivers side arch srubs the most. I took a grinder to it so i dont have that lip anymore, still scrubs just not as much. I only decided to do it because it had started to attack my tyre A LOT, it came down to me having a hole in my tyre which went pop lol.

im now considering getting me sum softstars first then buying the coilovers as will stop all rubbing/yre killing/arch wrecking carnage...correct offsets are the best so need to get rid of these tsw's (freeze)...can i hear £200? lol

I dont think offset will cure the problem as far as ive been told it will scrub no matter the offset of your wheels if you lower it? anyone know different?

if the offset tucks the wheel inside the arch greater it must...need a pic of a corsa on softstars/slammed...from the side to see the clerance from wheel to arch
