3 big names linked to it now...Sven, Houllier and Big Sam...who is it going to be then?

Surely it's going to be Allardyce. Freddy Shepherd has consistantly denied any links with Sven. Houllier is an interesting one and I suppose Big Sam could have been "invited" to resign if Bolton found out he was making enquires elsewhere! So actually who knows

I always thought Big Sam was a cert. but Houllier is certainly an interesting one. Personally I wouldnt want him though if I was a Newcaslte fan, he makes some very very strange buys!

Yeah very much so. Newcastle need someone with a bit about them to give them a kick up the arse. They certainly don't need someone who is going to waste money on strange buys.

I wouldn't mind seeing Sven managing a Premiership team actually. Can't see him at Spurs though.

He already said he's not interested. Granted that doesn't mean that much in this day and age, but I just can't see it.

No, he said he hasnt spoken to them out of respect for Lyon as is still working there. He has already told them he is leaving this summer though.

That would finish me with Newcastle if we were to appoint Sven or Houiller, however I would love to see Big Sam at St James', I think he is the kind of boss we've been crying out for

Guy at my work said the same. I don't see why he wouldn't be a good appointment.

Dodgy, underhand etc but also quite 'direct' in his style.
