Nice to see Ancelotti starting the mind games today by slating us, saying we arent like an English team anymore unlike United. But correct me if Im wrong but hasnt the 'english DNA' always been to have tough physical sides that are hard to break down (i.e. Liverpool in the 70's and 80's). And mediterranian sides to be more like United are at the moment with their attacking style of play!!
Either way its shaping up to be a good match. Expect us to handle Kaka much better than United did seems our midfield is a lot more defensive than theirs. Really have no clue what team he is going to start with though, but feel he may use Gerrard behind a main forward (Kuyt) and then play two wingers, so we could have a 5man midfield at times with Gerrard and a 4 man attacking line with the wingers pushing forward.

i think hes referring to the lack of english players in your first team
Milan will be looking for revenge after istanbul and even opted to play in their away kit when given to the choice

I have a feeling he will start Kewell, as soon as he said he'll be back for it I started to think it (after 2 yrs ago when he limped off in both finals). Add to that his display sat and i think hes in
Think team will be: Reina Finnan Agger Carra Riise Pennant Xabi Mascherano Kewell Gerrard and Kuyt in a 4-4-1-1
Crouchy could play instead of Kuyt but i doubt it. If no Kewell Zenden will play
Cmon u reds

That is exactly the team I had in mind
Rafa has been saying how Kewell might not be fit enough to start though, but this might be a bit of mind games really. I hope he does though as totally changed the game when he came on the other day, looked so sharp already!

I'll be rooting for Milan....always had a soft spot for Liverpool but got pissed off when Raffa fielded a shite side to play Fulham and lost.....plus Gerrard dived to win penalties home and away against us this year

we want to win th cl the premiership game was also a must win and rafa put out a good enough team to win, we also showed dtermination to win the game too but fulham were just better then us on the day
You sound like Neil Warnock,
ps, Just shows how un-united as a country every1 rooting for milan, even though i dispise utd and chelsea i would stil be suporting them against any other foreign team if they were in the cl final and not liverpool, makes me mad

Correct me if I'm wrong but Liverpool V Fulham has nothing to do with Sheff Utd, apart from they were too crap for England's top league, which is why the results state this.

Fulham finished one point ahead of United meaning if Liverpool had won Fulham would have had 2 less points - do you not get results and league tables over there?

apparently gilardino and inzaghi are getting a half each...which i dont know is a good thing or a bad thing....
the starting team will be something like
-----------------dida----------------
oddo---nesta---maldini--kaladze
-----------------Pirlo------------------
-------gatusso----ambrossini------
---kaka------------------------seedorf
------------gila/inzaghi--------------
pretty much unchanged from previous rounds, but they've prooved they can put on a performance. Gatusso to the job on gerrard, ambrossini to deal with the others. Pirlo to pull the stings, kaka and seedorf to produce magic, and gila or pippo to miss the sitters
in theory anyway
