i would say its because so many people are using pirate copies, is the reason we are paying £50 PER game on average. imo

My point of the post though is specifically aimed at people who haven't modded their console but have been banned, probably a glitch on microsofts end, but still check your connection guys

i'd never chip/mod my consoles. its stupid as your gonna lose out sooner or later (i.e. this banning being the current case). yeah its all fun a dandy when you get x amount of games for free but there'll always be draw backs and eventually youll end up regreting it because your console constantly crashes or you drop it, then find your warrenty is invalid.
its never worth the risk. someone wanted me to chip my psp. i told him to kindly gtf

yup i'm flashed... Basically you're live profile won't log in. MS basically black-list your console so your profile remains in tact, it's the console that can't log on. If i put my HDD on an un-flashed 360 i could log in, but with this console i can no longer access XBL. I knew it was coming so hey ho

It says that if you have an account for the wrong region you could get banned as well! If that happened then i'd get my 360 flashed because I never play online anyway and get all my games for free.
Its not the end of the world getting banned from live, you can still play the games offline so I wouldnt mind if I had 50 games for free
