Been offered a full proffesional respray for £300 in lotus yellow, and £30 for my wheels to be sprayed black what you lot think??

Hes a good mate of mine that has alot of lotus yellow left over from another project he never finished

£300 sounds too cheap, i was quoted a grand & that was with me stripping it & doing all the prep work!!

I wouldn't want someone to paint my car with 'leftovers'. How much paint has he got? 'leftovers' to me, means not very much.

As said hes a mate, hes a profeesional sprayer with his own spraying booth thing and that aint no cheap rattle can bloke, he got a deal on alot of the paint at a cheap price, now hes used what he needs hes got a load left, enough to do 3-4 cars, hes just spent 3 hours welding a plate on my chassis to get through the MOT and didnt charge, thats the sorta mate he is hence why its so cheap

Would like it to be different to most corsas and stand out a bit but without spending silly money

Lotus yellow being....

With the same colour corsa c sxi wheels, bearing in mind it would be lowered 60mm aswel, with black depos and standard rear lights, aaaaand blacked out windows

The paint used to do Fads old Corsa which is the red one in TV this month was costed at £400 trade.

Tom got about 8 litres of leftover laquer when his work stopped doing BMW's so they had no use for paint with BMW written on the tin anymore

In fact i saw a green clio today that hes repaired and resprayed and cant tell the difference, i wouldnt let him do it if it was guna mess up my car

means door shuts, engine nay, inside panels etc wouldnt be done, which would annoy the fuck out of me

You've seen his proper work, not his £300 cheap, on the side work.

A £300 respray WILL be shit, unless it's on a moped.
