Right, cars been for service... 2 times lol, mostly due to pollen filters!!!

Car is a 1999 Corsa B 1.6 16v Sport. It has aircon.

Now I took my first airfilter (proper GM part, pic below), and this was too big says my mechanic. As it was meant for non-aircon car - my bad for not thinking to order for an aircon car.

So I got another one from ebay which was sposed be for aircon and it is MASSIVE (pic below) but took it anyway, again now serrriioouuusllyyy big, so they're ordering me one in...

But, I thought you had to remove scuttle panel to replace the pollen filter??? My mechanic showed me my old one and where it fits, now it fits where you'd usually find the washer bottle on a non aircon car, just lift rubber seal up on the bulkhead then the flap lifts up, so you dont need to take the scuttle panel off.

What I was thinking is, do I need TWO filters? Is one under the scuttle in the middle and then one seperately for aircon or what? Complete guess as I aint got a haynes, or is it true the aircon cars really do have just one quite small filter.

Pics below of the ones I've had so far!! lol!

1) for normal non AC cars

2) apparently for AC cars?! lol
