It also say's he's only earning 22k a week which i would just about place my life savings on that an £11 million pound player won't be.

In today's market he's worth whatever the bankrolled clubs are willing to pay, realistically though i'd pay 15-18 million tops, he still hasn't set the heather alight in the champions league and he's no Henry or Etoo.

Man United should of really stepped in to buy him before Spurs did, apparently the reason he turned down Utd and went to Spurs was because Spurs kept on trying to get him and paid much more of an interest in him, d'oh Utd!
Quality player though and imo he will stay at Spurs for another season or two.

All UTD strikers that move on have much better seasons. Look at Forlan, flop at UTD, top scorer first season in Spain?
Van Nist... 30 goals this season for Madrid?

Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov looks set to disappoint Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool by signing a new deal at Tottenham.
The Daily Mirror reports that the 26-year-old is ready to follow the lead of White Hart Lane strike partner Robbie Keane, who penned a fresh £10m five-year contract on Monday, by committing himself to Spurs and landing a bumper new deal in the process.
Berbatov has been courted by a number of clubs following his outstanding debut season in the Premiership but has constantly stated that he is more than happy with life in north London.
Spurs are on the up after successive fifth-placed finishes in the top flight, and the former Bayer Leverkusen frontman seems almost certain to see if they can break into the top four next season and secure Champions League football.
but..

But could Jermain Defoe be off to Newcastle? The Daily Mail says that 'Sam Allardyce will make a move for Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe if Michael Owen quits Tyneside.
Defoe seems to be a key sub for us, comes on allot and changes the game.
