Buying a new car after mine was written off . Got 3 options as to what to get. I'm 18 with 0NCB so have added insurance quotes to justify options.
Would like your opinions and why if thats alright

the cheapest insurance one. get couple years no claims then go for a better faster car instead of making yourself skint with daft insurance premiums

how much of a difference power wise is there between a 1.2 16v and a 1.4 16v. As i've had 2 1.4's before will it be a big step down?

id say 1.4 sport but then again...look at the cost of a gsi and it might work out the same...some gsi's standard will be cheaper to buy than a sport... I own a 1.4 sport but saw a gsi for sale couple of days before...£900...it went on ebay after someone beat for to it for £1900...the 1.4's gud but if u can find a cheap gsi maybe go for it!??? between the 1.2 and 1.4 though...£150 more for 1.4...u shud take the 1.4...im insured for £1250 on mine with 0NCB and 0 Years driving...so look around insurance policy's too im with liverpool victoria...if anyone in ure house is with directline go with them cus u get a multicar discount

what muppet said, don't pay nearly 2 grand for a gsi the drop over as little as a year may be worth waiting for. i also assume you've just passed your test for prices that high? i paid £1200 on my 1.6 sport at 18 and my renewal quote is £800, £400 drop in a year isn't too bad

If you can afford it, get the 1.4 sport. If you can't then go for the 1.2 sxi, as they are nice cars as well.
