That is a significant show of strength imo, not only within English football but European as well, Anderson is about as exciting a talent there is in Europe.

Both can play as attacking midfielders so that might not be an issue. Plus Smithy will be back to his best next season.

Well to maintain strength in depth you need to keep on top of it

TBH aslong as you dont start selling off a load of utility players you'll have strength in depth!

I was just saying earlier how we'll need a replacement for Giggs next year, looks like that could be sorted!

I'm assuming you mean Fletcher and O'Shea? I can't see them going anywhere.

Don't expect them to be playing 30 or 40 games each Rooney and Ronaldo are still relatively young so Scholes and Giggs etc will still be relied on.
I'm loving where this Man U team is going it's as if Fergusons not got the British crop available to him from the Beckham Neville era and has said fuck it ill buy the best in Europe

thats two good signings if what ive read about them is true
we just need a world class striker now, and possibly that could be a brazilian one? as when we tried to sign ronaldinho we signed kleberson so he could settle in, you never know, id love to see torres at united though (yes i know torres isnt brazilian)

There's some Brazilian striker in Holland scoring barrel loads including 4 hat tricks this season iirc there was apparent interest in either him or Huntelaar.

Rumoured costs:
Nani -13-14 mil pounds
Anderson - up to 17 mil pounds

^^
Add to that atleast £17m for Hargreaves, and £25m+ for a top top forward and you've spent a tidy amount!

wasnt your delay though, was Bayern not selling. More meant from the end of this season to signing them.
Although most of ours will be coming from Spain so have to wait until their season ends no doubt.
